Thomas has been active in sports and physical training for over 25 years. He ran 100 m sprint and 100 m relay as a teenager, pumped iron in his late teens, was a paratrooper in the German military, and has been practicing various types of strength and conditioning training.
Thomas has also had a number of injuries over the years such as torn ligaments, a leg fracture during a paratrooper exercise, neck injuries and others. “I have learned as much from my rehab efforts after an injury as I have learned through my diet and exercise experience and studies over the years.”
Fitness qualifications include CSNA – Certified Sports Nutrition Advisor by the Holy Institute, ACE PT – American Council on Exercise certified Personal Trainer, FIT Personal Trainer, CrossFit Level 1 Certification and IKFF (International Kettlebell Fitness Federation) CKT 1.
Regular work-outs are a part of his life. He enjoys a variety of exercises such as bodyweight circuits, weight training, tube & band resistance training, Kettlebells, cardiovascular exercises such as running, swimming and Thai-boxing. He also stretches on a daily basis.
His daily meal plans (DMPs) consist of simple whole foods such as eggs, meats, fish, seafood, brown rice, fresh fruits, raw and cooked vegetables as well as nuts, seeds, fish oil and flaxseed oil.
