There are all sorts of foods, which supposedly help you lose fat weight or so people believe. It may be an exotic fruit, a special seaweed, a new drink product or a new magic supplement that promises to rid us of excess body fat.
While there are certainly products out there that can help in overall fat loss, believing that one can continue with overeating on the wrong (fattening) foods but still lose fat, if only one took a certain “fat loss” product, is a common misconception.
The bulk of our food intake is what makes the difference. If one indulges in fast foods or fried foods for all major meals, there is simply no way the body can cope with the poisoning effects of the trans fatty acids, let alone the excess calories.
In order to make a lasting change – in order to drop body fat and keep it off, we must focus on eating the right kind of food. And the right kind of food for fat loss is the one that is most nutrient dense, contains a lot of water and fiber.
The right kind of food for lasting fat loss are vegetables. In fact, in my book, vegetables are the number 1 Fat Loss Food! But only a special kind of vegetables. Which kind of vegetables is the special kind? All vegetables that are organically grown AND that we can eat RAW.
Organic raw vegetables are the most powerful fat loss foods there are. They are very dense in nutrients, contain purified water and fiber. Nothing, simply nothing will get you to lose fat faster than eating fresh, raw vegetables instead of fried, processed and starchy foods.
Fresh, raw veggies are filled with enzymes, trace elements, micro-nutrients, fiber and water. They are highly alkalizing and healing when they come from organic farming environments and are free of fertilizers and pesticides.

If you are not used to eating a large amount of raw vegetables try the following approach:
Beginners: Try having one fresh raw veggie dish such as a small lettuce salad, a cucumber or a carrot a day and feel the difference.
Intermediate: Make sure that you consume the majority of your veggies raw and have three veggie dishes a day. Notice how much leaner you get day by day.
Advanced: Eat fresh, raw veggies instead of all processed starches and refined simple sugars. Know that you are getting leaner and healthier with every meal.
